High fantasy is a subgenre of fantasy fiction set in a fictional world that is not Earth. This fantasy world is internally consistent, but its rules differ from those of Earth and can include alternative magic, religion, science.
A very successful knight ends up suffering some consequences for not executing one of his subordinates and ends up losing his castle city because of it. Desperate to reclaim it, he, his wife and a few good men head into the wilds at their kingdom's border to find new allies.
