Chapter 5
"Katernin!?" An incredulous shout came from beside them. "A-are y-ye ACTUALLY... I mean, is he... are ye..." Ferdoch Graybeard emerged into the light of the lantern, sputtering in utter shock.
"Oh, my darling." A further rustle announced the hurried approach of Queen Alya, followed up shortly by King Grennaur. "Oh, my poor little girl." Katernin froze, mortified. There was nothing to do; her parents and Ferdoch were all here, and she was caught with Garauk balls-deep inside her!
"My young lady," King Grennaur said, "by the stones and mountains, when we said ye could have anything ye like, we weren't meaning-"
"Wait." Garauk spoke abruptly as he withdrew from Katernin, making her shiver one more time as his cock pulled out of her. "Dwarves, all of you, please pardon me. I love Katernin Ironcrown more than anything else in this life, and I never meant to cause any pain or harm. I will do anything, absolutely anything, to spare her any harm from this. I beg your understanding and mercy." He opened his arms, hands out to the side in a non-threatening position.
"P-Princess Katernin," Ferdoch said. "How can this be? I-I had no idea t-that ye... ye were this sort of wanton orc-fucking slut!" He shook his head. "I don't kn-know if I can ever-"
"Ye will shut your fucking mouth at once, Ferdoch Graybeard," Queen Alya said angrily, "and if ye should ever call my beloved daughter and your esteemed princess a slut one more time, I, the Queen of the White Mountain Clan, will personally kick your sorry ass all the way back to the stronghold, and then give my most trusted guards the honor of kicking it as well!"
"B-but she's..." Ferdoch said, gesturing at Katernin helplessly. "Ye saw! Ye both saw!"
Katernin stood up, scowling, and a thick bead of Garauk's cum fell from her to land atop the stone. She stepped down and strode forth to Ferdoch, and with no drama or ceremony she lashed out with a solid punch that assisted him in taking measure of his length upon the ground for several seconds before he sat up, rubbing his temple and cringing. "Y-ye hit me!" he whined.
"Ye happy now, boy?" King Grennaur said angrily to Ferdoch. "Follow her, ye said. See what she's up to. Could be dangerous, going out alone by night, ye said." He spat. "Well, now ye've seen. Ye happy?"
Ferdoch shook his head and whimpered.
"Mama," Katernin said. "Papa. I'm sorry ye had to see this, if it upsets ye." She cleared her throat, then went to Garauk, who was shrinking back into the darkness. She took him by the hand and led him forward, into the light, in front of her parents. "But I'll not apologize for what I've done this or any other night. I love both of ye... but I also love this man, Garauk. That's not changing."
"Oh, my dear," Queen Alya said, shaking her head. "I respect ye and your every choice. I know ye're grown, and ye're smart as anything. I love ye, and I'm more proud of ye in everything ye do than ye could know." She took a deep breath, then gestured to Garauk. "But what're we supposed to do with this, then? What can ye do? Ye have any idea the scope of the problems here?"
"None of you fools," a deep, rumbling voice said from the darkness, "have any idea of the problems here." Six feet ten inches tall, with shoulders like the broadside of a galleon, Ullegh Zagroth strode forward into the light. His legendary barbed spear, Jagged Tooth, was clutched in a meaty fist. Beside him walked two other esteemed orc warriors and hunters, Ripper and Egrash, carrying their own weapons.
"Oh shit," Garauk gasped.
"Ye're not wanting trouble, are ye?" King Grennaur asked, looking over Ullegh with grim determination.
"Not at all," Ullegh said. "I only thought it best to track our friend Garauk, who makes all of our delicious suppers, and see where it is he sneaks off to on these nights once in a while! I certainly expected nothing so interesting as what we found." He grinned broadly and slapped Garauk on the shoulder, so hard that he stumbled forward and nearly lost his balance. "Looks like our Garauk has been getting some dwarf pussy! And to think, all this time we were all certain you were a faggard."
"Faggard?" Katernin's brow furrowed as she tried to make sense of the huge orc's ramblings.
"Just go with it," Garauk said softly. "He's huge, prone to murderous violence, and can easily kill anything that can die."
Ullegh let out a great, booming laugh. "And you speak so well of me!" he said. Then he turned to the dwarves. "Though it does raise an interesting point. Here my many admirers back in the Shattered Blade tribe are screaming for dwarf blood after your mines collapsed the mountain... and I have the King, the Queen, the Princess, and... some other dwarf here in front of me. How would the legend of Ullegh Zagroth grow if I bring all your heads back into camp in the morning?" He grinned wickedly at them, showing his teeth.
"Ye'll not find that an easy thing to do, fella," Queen Alya said, and from her side she drew a hammer. "We'll stand and fight." Katernin's heart swelled with pride in her mother's courage, but it was tempered by her doubts that any of them stood a chance against these fierce warriors in their current state.
But Ullegh only let out a booming laugh. "You think Ullegh Zagroth will flinch from two elderly dwarves, a naked slip of a girl, and... this man, whatever he is?" He gestured to Ferdoch. "Who is he? Is this your warrior? Your champion? What is his name?"
Ferdoch, trembling, bolted up and looked back and forth in stark terror. Then, with a strangled cry, he turned and dashed into the night, carrying the sound of his boots tearing through bushes and brambles as he ran. Katernin watched him flee with disgust so strong it turned her stomach. Ullegh's eyes bulged in disbelief, and then he laughed long and loud again.
"Run along, brave dwarf!" Ullegh said. "Run as fast and as far as your stubby legs can take you! Run all the way home, and when you weep in recollection of your cowardice later, take solace in the knowledge that you were not worth chasing!" He laughed again, and then quite suddenly his gaze snapped back to the others like a predatory snake. "As I was saying, you face four orcs of the Shattered Blade tribe, with two old geezers and a naked girl. Do not insult me."
"They face three orcs of the Shattered Blade," Garauk said, stepping forward, "and I stand with them. I love Katernin Ironcrown, and the three of you will not hurt her family. So says the son of High Chief Magrul Kargalish!"
"The son of our glorious High Chief speaks!" Ullegh roared mirthfully. "What fun! Is your Kat-err-ninn truly so wonderful? Then I challenge you! I challenge you for her! Single combat, with this Katernin's cunt as the prize!"
Garauk spread his arms. "I would fight to the death for her," he said, "but I have no weapon. Is the mighty Ullegh too afraid to face me when I'm armed?"
"Garauk, no!" Katernin protested, panic flaring up inside her. She was willing to defend her own life against the orc, but Garauk had told her himself many times that he was no warrior! She would watch him be cut down in front of her eyes if this was allowed!
"No weapon?" Ullegh said, a manic grin containing bubbling laughter splayed across his face. "But you are the son of the High Chief! As a warrior sworn to serve the tribe, I cannot break my oath to you. I will give you my own weapon, the mighty spear Jagged Tooth!" He thrust the spear's handle into Garauk's hands.
Garauk looked down at the spear incredulously. "What is this?" he sputtered. This obviously was not what he expected. "I don't-"
"Now you are armed!" Ullegh said. "So we begin!"
