I look into each cell on my way there, I sense everyone is alive, but they look at me dully, as if they know I am there, but not what it means, I see that they have partially healed burns all over them. All the doors have their locks detonated by psionics, so I know that Nûl has not only eaten their higher brains but also healed them, I do not get why he would do that, I do not really expect him to be in his cell, but then as I get there I see him, he has not even tried to hide that his door is also unlocked, why the hell did he not try to escape? I get really surprised that he has fixed three crystals already and I can draw energy from them, like usual, I can sense he altered them slightly to exclude himself from being drained, but I had expected backstabbing, but they are not draining me so that is good, everyone has been fed and somewhat successfully are eating. Though their current level of brain damage has them eating very messily, I don't have time to fix them right now though. All the locks are fixed and I sense they are operating exactly like they should too, one of the crystals is sitting right on top of the gilded cage, and I see Nûl working on crystals in his cell, having gathered all their fragments and dust up and focusing hard on mending them, it looks fascinating to my magic vision, I am sure this is something sis could learn to do easily, but to me it seems so different to the things I easily do. Still I will try to learn it later. He finishes another crystal and notices me "mistress, improve your crystals" he says and points at the ichor schematic on the wall "change power capacity to be unified with all crystals and excess will become droplets of mana from this crystal" he hands me the special crystal "when crystals full of energy it become raw magic droplet, felt that from temple below, can make."
"You can make raw magic droplets?" I ask incredulously.
"Yes with crystals, weak raw magic droplets possible" he points back at the important bits of the schematics "no more bad surges, completely stable, once I done I will remove myself from list of not drained people, promise mistress. Anything else I can do?" he asks and looks up expectantly as I stand there looking at the schematic. I am not sure I fully understand it but as I look at the crystal I got handed I can see sort of how it works, once the crystals reach full charge they discharge part of the energy down the line concentrating it into a strange energy funnel that creates a droplet of that energy. I am not sure if that raw magic is the same as the ritual gave us, because if it is that is great I could make magic awakening potions for people, if I capture enough beings to drain from the magic they produce each day from food at least.
