Chapter 7 - Part 2

"I..." she could imagine how she must look, on her knees before him covered in sweat and cum. Had she betrayed him? The hurt in his eyes pained her more than a physical blow and she almost began to cry. However, she did not. After all that had happened she was harder now. She wiped the semen off of her chin with the back of her hand, had to resist the urge to lick it up and forced herself to her feet, "You lost control and attacked me. I had to do something."

The orc frowned as he tried to process her words, "No..."

Unnerved by his confusion, Misty focused on the task at hand. When they had first embarked on their journey, Roaji had insisted on packing as much stuff as possible from his borrowed dwarf hole and loading it onto the giant lizard. This was done using a large tent shaped harness that sported several rope racks and a hammock on each side. It did not take long for the girl to concoct a plan.

Without ceremony she began to unload Snotty as quickly as she could manage; she asked Roaji, "Are you going to help?"

"Stop," the orc groaned, "Need craft for people."

Misty did not stop, "If we don't get you home soon, you'll die. You're too far gone to walk the rest of the way so you need to be carried."

"Poison..."

"Yes the poison is starting to control you so we don't have any choice," the harness began to tilt as she took away its balance.

Roaji spoke weakly, it was hard to believe he had been so frighteningly imposing only moments before, "No, my poison. Poison you."

Fear ran through her, "You and Kentin said the poison couldn't affect humans."

"No, my poison... My poison."

What the fuck was he talking about? His poison? The orc slumped to the ground in a daze forcing Misty to push these new concerns to the side, she would need Roaji's help to get him into the sling and he could not do that if he was unconscious of berserk. She found herself literally tearing off the remnants of the orc's collected provisions, dashing round to unload the other side before she lost him again.

When she was satisfied that there was enough space to fit the orc she returned to hear him muttering, "Misty... sorry. Sibyl's curse... forgive me."

Ignoring the drowsy beast's words she shouted, "Roaji! Get up. I need you to get up!"

Heading lolling he gave her a pleading look, "Please, Misty. Forgive me."

"If you get up, I'll consider it," when he still looked confounded she repeated, "Get the fuck up!"

With difficulty he complied and Misty pulled him over to the hammock and dropped him heavily into it so that the harness swung dangerously close to falling off. The girl swore and had to dump a pile of cantrips back onto the opposite side to restore balance. The worst part, however was having to listen to Roaji groan apologies to her as she tied him to the sling like he was a hated prisoner rather than her beleaguered lover.

Wiping the sweat away from her fatigue raw eyes, Misty regretted that she had not been counting the days since they had descended from the grey cliffs overlooking the dead city. Roaji had said it would take four days to reach the settlement had he not? Had it been that long yet? She thought it had, yet the swamp's mists had swallowed the sun, muddling her sense of time and direction. She wished she had headed to the coast whilst she knew where it was, though her destination was more in land at least she would know for certain that she was not going in circles. She was lost.

There were raised pathways criss-crossing the marshlands, but no sign posts to discern which led where. She reckoned that that was intentional as the orc had told her of his peoples' customary seclusion. Eventually Misty was forced to give up and allow Snotty to lead the way. She fashioned a basic saddle from her clothes, the majority of which she had given up wearing due to the warmth and humidity of the swamp and tried her best to get comfortable on the thick studded neck of the lizard. The pack beast did not seem to object and the girl hoped she was trustworthy as she was docile.

The orc on the other hand was increasingly becoming the opposite of docile. She had started by blindfolding him, which had helped for a while then was forced to gag him to stop him from biting his tongue. He sporadically thrashed about like a bug trapped in a web and on more than one occasion had managed to invert himself so that he was dragging along the ground. The poison had advanced enough that he no longer had any moments of lucidity and Misty was sure no amount of sexy shenanigans would change that now. Adding to her considerable concerns was the fact that he was no longer accepting food or water from her.

Misty knew that a human could not last long without water and she had no reason to believe an orc would be any different, so the moment he stopped drinking was the moment the girl stopped taking breaks to rest. She had no idea how long she had gone without sleep, but she had started to notice that the resolutely plodding Snotty was beginning to occasionally falter. She found herself whispering hoarse encouragements to the lizard and scratching it's head.

Meanwhile, Misty was feeling not entirely like herself. The odd sensation from the warm cum Roaji had filled her belly and melted her loins with had not dissipated, but rather morph into an unscratchable itch within her womb. It was not painful, just annoying and weird. Did the orc mean this when he was rambling about poison? She did not feel poisoned or weaker, in fact for a while she had actually felt invigorated before she stopped sleeping. Even the local bugs that had initially hounded her were now keeping their distance from her. Thinking about it though, that probably had more to do with the giant lizard that was gleefully swallowing them by the cloud-full.

In one instant of non-fretfulness they had even come across a family of wild whatever the fucks Snotty was. The infant among them even just barely crossed the threshold into cuteness. The family bellowed whistles at them in a manner that did not sound threatening. Even so Snotty seemed disconcerted; standing stock still and huffing unhappily. Misty had to drop off her saddle and drag the lizard around her kin.

Such lighter moments sadly were short lived and few in number and her most consistent companions were anxiety and fear. When she refused herself rest and time went on, exhaustion gradually took away her emotions and soon thereafter began to erode her will to go on. For Roaji she had to continue. Her eyes were so heavy. For Roaji she had to keep Snotty spurred. Was it getting darker? For Roaji...

I have set up a facebook page 'W X Y Grey' Expect to find much more info about upcoming work there. Also, those wishing to contact me are much more likely to get a response there as I am usually pretty horribly anti-social and rubbish at replying to e-mails.

Happy reading.
