Chapter 2: Back to Aotis
“Oh... ah , Andrew...”
Amelia tilted her head back and shuddered as she felt Andrew’s tongue rolling circles over her clit. She woke up to him kissing down her neck, and since they were both still undressed from their toss in the sheets the night before, it took no effort to start up again.
Amelia’s fingers tugged on Andrew’s hair as he applied sure and so oh delicious pressure to her most sensitive places. His tongue really was incredibly skilled, her thighs trembled as she approached a rapidly arriving climax, her lips whimpering his name again and again...
With a final gasp she thrust her hips up as pleasure nearly drowned her, and Andrew didn’t pull back or stop lapping her until she nudged him back. Andrew sat up and licked his lips, looking like the cat who got the cream.
Amelia caught her breath and grinned. “Well? We’re not done yet, are we?” she teased, gesturing him forward with another finger.
Andrew chuckled before his body covered hers, his hard cock nudging up against her soaked pussy. “I want you too much to be done already,” he murmured before he entered her. Slow, perfect, oh so gentle. Amelia rocked up against Andrew’s thrusts, their bodies so in tune with each other, knowing exactly when to move into the other’s. Andrew kissed her again and again, sucking and nibbling at her lips before diving his tongue into her mouth where Amelia eagerly rubbed her tongue against his, tasting herself and not so secretly loving it.
Amelia felt Andrew’s hand between their bodies before it pressed up against her clit, which was still oh so sensitive from her last orgasm. “Andrew,” she moaned quietly, bucking her hips up against his touch, bringing her closer and closer to the peak of pleasure once again.
Andrew swallowed her next moan with another deep kiss, feeling her whole body shake with her next climax. Feeling her squeeze down around him was enough to finish him as well, and the two remained tangled with each other for several more minutes, kissing until Amelia’s lips felt swollen and sore.
The two finally pulled apart, Andrew taking off the condom and knotting it off before it went into the trash can. The pair curled up next to each other, Andrew stroking Amelia’s hair while the sun slowly lit up the room.
“You’re so beautiful right now,” Andrew murmured as he kissed her neck.
Amelia snorted. “I haven’t even brushed my hair yet. Probably looks like a bird nest,” she grumbled.
“And? You still can’t be beautiful with bird nest hair?”
Amelia giggled and nuzzled into her husband’s chest. These soft moments after making love were some of her favorites. The peace, the quiet... until she started to really wake up and her mind wandered back to Aotis.
It had been six months since the Genesis station had been shredded by the asteroid storm. It was completely unsalvageable. It could’ve been worse - most of the crew were injured to some extent, but there had only been seven deaths. Talk about the worst time for the shields to have a mechanical failure. But it wasn’t the asteroid storm that stuck with her.
“Submit for me, Doctor Temple. Submit for me in front of your mate .”
Ogdo. Sometimes in the early mornings when she heard bird calls outside, she’d flash back to that cave, and the brutish alien who had ‘generously’ offered to take care of them... as long as Amelia surrendered her body to him. It hadn’t really been a choice. They would’ve died without Ogdo there to take care of them. And in the end, Ogdo had ensured their rescue.
That was what she had to remind herself to stop herself from the guilt... the guilt of allowing herself to be taken by Ogdo again and again, in front of Andrew no less, coming an uncountable amount of times... and the guilt of having dreams where she really was back on Aotis, crawling up to Ogdo and presenting to him, letting him come up from behind and fuck her into the ground.
She’d woken up multiple times hot and panting, painfully aroused to the point where she’d end up waking Andrew to take the edge off as well as get Ogdo out of her fucking mind.
She loved Andrew. Andrew loved her. Why was that bastard still haunting her?
“What are you thinking about, ginger?”
Damn it. Andrew really could tell when she had something heavy on her mind. Amelia bit her bottom lip.
“Do... do you still think... about Aotis?”
Andrew tensed and Amelia cursed herself for just asking that flat out. They did everything they could to avoid talking about those three days. After the mandatory therapy sessions the company paid for, it was like it had never happened. They were still passionate, and Amelia still couldn’t picture anyone else she’d want to grow old with... but Aotis was the elephant in the room no one wanted to bring up.
Andrew cleared his throat and shifted. “I mean... why wouldn’t it? We were stranded on an alien planet, it’s not easy to forget something like that,” he said.
Not. The answer Amelia was looking for.
“What about you?”
And that question was not one she wanted to answer. Amelia’s heart shot up into her throat, her fingers frozen on Andrew’s chest. “... Like you said. Why wouldn’t it?” she responded, and with that her heart sunk down to the pit of her stomach.
Why can’t we just. Talk about this?
“... I have to shower. Achilles Labs wants to have a meeting today, and they’ll probably want my webcam on.”
Amelia slipped out of bed and walked to the bathroom, her arms wrapped around her body in a pitiful hug. The shower’s spray was set at a comforting warmth, but she turned up the temperature until it was near scalding before she sat down.
This was stupid. She could talk about anything with Andrew, she always could before. Why was it impossible to talk about Ogdo and what happened on Aotis? They both swerved away from the discussion this morning.
Maybe he wasn’t ready to open that door. Maybe she wasn’t too. Amelia just didn’t know anymore.
“They’re going to shut down the Aotis research project.”
Amelia’s head was spinning. That meeting had gone even worse than she’d expected. I mean, the station had been completely destroyed, costing the lab billions of dollars, but she didn’t realize how little data had been salvaged. Almost an entire earth year on that damn metal box and it now amounted to nothing.
Andrew slowly lowered the book he’d been reading. “... Come here,” he said, setting the book to the side.
He really did know her so well. Amelia crawled onto the couch and into his arms, unable to stop the sobbing now. She’d held herself together pretty well in the meeting, but she felt shattered now.
Andrew didn’t try to say anything. He just stroked her hair and let her cry it out. Exactly what she needed. When the tears slowly died down, that’s when he spoke. He tilted up her chin to look at him and said, “What do you need me to do?”
God. She loved him so much.
Amelia rested up against him as her mind spun. “... They can’t put another station above Aotis. The planet is too prone to asteroid storms and it’ll just be several billion dollars down the toilet. The other scientists are trying to put together what they recall, but without hard data and confirmed hypotheses, it’s only good for a starting point for... another expedition.”
Of course! Amelia bolted upright as it hit her. “I’ll go back myself!” she declared.
Andrew stared blankly at her. “You’re joking, right?”
“Nope! I can do this!” Amelia started babbling away excitedly. “Achilles doesn’t WANT to give up on Aotis, there’s so many completely unknown species there, let alone the study of Aonis culture! I can convince them to sponsor my return to the planet, I’ll set up a home base-”
Andrew pressed his finger against Amelia’s lips to get her to slow down. When she finally paused for a breath, he spoke up. “Babe. I love you to death. And I love your passion. But did you forget how dangerous Aotis is? Let’s just completely disclude the man eating plants and the carnivorous animals the size of a school bus. The Aonis weren’t too thrilled with you being on that planet anyway. They will kill you if they figure out you’re back to study them.”
... Fuck. Amelia deflated as she considered this new problem. Andrew was right, of course. Going to Aotis on her own would be a suicide mission. Even if Achilles Labs was willing to outfit her with armed guards, the planet was still so hazardous that the risk would be incredibly high. Too high.
Unless. They had help from a local.
“... Ogdo wouldn’t kill me.”
Andrew’s jaw dropped. “You’re really not joking, are you?” He ran his fingers through his hair, now longer and starting to curl since he wasn’t actively serving. “Amelia, Ogdo forced you to trade sexual favors for safety. And I think part of what got him off was that I was watching and unable to stop him from molesting my wife. You can't seriously be thinking about going to him for help.”
“I am. And I understand that… his cost for his protection was high.” Amelia swallowed. “... But he let us go, Andrew. He was the one who activated the beacon, not me. He could’ve destroyed it, left us stranded and at his mercy, but he didn’t. He saved our lives, and I’m not saying he didn’t do it for selfish reasons. But he’s my best shot at completing this study. And possibly, he… he might be my only shot. And if the project is officially canceled? Everything that happened to me, to us? Was pointless. I can’t accept that.”
Andrew sat back, and Amelia could see the wheels turning in his head as he considered every little part of this situation. It was clear he didn’t like it, by the way he furrowed his brow and scowled, but he obviously couldn’t think of a better solution either.
“... All right. All right, you’re onto something here. But I have a caveat. I’m going with you.”
Amelia raised an eyebrow. “And how can I spin that to make it palatable for Achilles Labs?”
Andrew grinned and flexed. “Bodyguard, ginger. My superiors in the military have only good things to say about me. I aced my survival training, I’m more than capable in hand to hand combat, and I’m a hell of a shot with most modern day weaponry. I’ll go cheap too, since I’ll be teaming up with my wonderful, super genius wife.”
Well, that would probably work. Amelia smiled. “All right, you can stop kissing my ass, I’ll convince them you’ll be a good investment... and... I’ll feel a lot better with you by my side during this mission. You have my back, I have yours.”
Andrew nodded. “Till death do us part,” he agreed.
DAY ONE
Three months of prep and here they were. Back on Aotis.
It actually went smoother than Amelia suspected. Sure, she picked up that Achilles Labs didn’t want to give up on the Aotis study, but financing a single scientist to finish it up? Turned out it would be way cheaper with just Amelia stationed on the planet’s surface. After they agreed to the study’s revival, it was a matter of getting the supplies and preparing everything they’d need. Amelia had enough batteries, WhiteLights, and portable solar panels to keep them going until Earth’s sun burned out. If the study was once again showing signs of progress, Achilles Labs assured Amelia that they’d be sending more scientists and supplies. For now though, it was just her and Andrew.
Andrew poked his head out of the research pod. “...Are we...”
“Yes!” Amelia sighed with relief as she looked outside. She knew that cave and pond almost too well. “I hoped I got the coordinates right. This is exactly where we initially landed.”
“I didn’t think you’d be so excited to be back... well, right here,” Andrew said, his brow furrowing.
“Well, if we need to find Ogdo, we should start where we last saw him.” Amelia popped out of the pod and cracked her back. Coming in through the atmosphere was always such a bumpy ride. “Come on, help me set up our basecamp.”
The research pod itself was quite the extension. Once landed, it expanded outwards until it was big enough for a single bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen. Nothing fancy, but far more comfortable than sleeping in the cave. The rations in the kitchen would be perfect if they were trapped inside and couldn’t hunt or gather food, and they had enough dried vegetables and soup powders for the entire two approved years of study. And it would be a blessing to be able to take real showers in the morning instead of jumping into the pond. It might’ve done the job, but it was cold .
In the time it took to get the water supply hooked up to the pond and all the communication back to the labs on earth active, Andrew and Amelia were no longer alone.
Amelia felt it first. The prickling of the hair on her neck meant someone was watching her. She took a deep breath to steady herself, just in case whoever or whatever was watching her was hostile, she didn’t want to tip them off that she knew they were there. She stood up straight and slowly scanned her surroundings.
She would’ve missed him entirely if he didn’t speak up.
“... Doctor Temple?”
Ogdo stepped out from the brush, his pale eyes wide with surprise. He’d coated his chest and face with green and brown dyes - likely to serve as some kind of camouflage. He had an impressively large animal draped over his shoulders, a cervidae that was quite similar to Earth’s white tailed deer, save for the black fur and the poisonous spines on its front hooves.
Amelia’s breath caught. It all rushing back to her - the way he’d stare at her whenever she was conducting her research on the Genesis station, waking up to him staring at her with anger, the way he’d manhandled her and bent her to his every whim while they were waiting for rescue...
“... Hello, Ogdo.”
The Aonis lowered his catch to the ground, not dropping his icy gaze from hers for a second. “Why are you back here?” he asked.
“Ginger, who are you... oh damn. This was a lot easier than I thought it’d be.” Andrew hopped out of the pod, casually resting a hand on the firearm at his waist. “Hey, King Kong, how’ve you been?”
Ogdo scowled and Amelia immediately took a step to put herself in an uncomfortable position - between Andrew and Ogdo. “Babe, don’t antagonize him. We need his help,” she gently scolded Andrew.
Andrew sighed but nodded. “Sorry.”
Ogdo cocked an eyebrow. “I have questions,” he said.
Amelia nodded. “I can imagine. Come inside, we can get out of the heat of the day at least,” she gestured Ogdo forward.
“ Are you going to kidnap me again?” Ogdo asked, glancing at the basecamp suspiciously.
“ Cross my heart, that’ll never happen to you again, Ogdo.” Amelia forced a smile on her lips, trying to seem friendly. “Come on, the air conditioning will feel great.”
Although he was still cautious, Ogdo followed Amelia and Andrew inside. He looked almost comically giant as he sat across from Amelia and Andrew, taking up most of a couch himself. Amelia pressed up against Andrew, gripping onto his hand and telling herself again and again they were on equal footing this time. Andrew was armed and in prime health. Ogdo couldn’t make them do anything.
Ogdo glanced around the pod they’d call home for a while. “... Not as ugly as Genesis, at least,” he decided before he relaxed, leaning against the couch arm. “Now, my first question. Why are you here?”
Amelia breathed in and out again to steady herself before she sat up straight. She still held onto Andrew’s hand though, and he squeezed it to reassure her.
“I’m continuing my research on Aotis. During the asteroid storm, we lost most of what we learned. I’m going to finish the project and finish my study of your world.”
“And my people.” Ogdo narrowed his eyes. “You told your mate you’d need my help. If you think I’ll help you abduct other Aonis for your experiments-”
“No, no!” Amelia raised her hands. “Never again! I told you, I was against that method from the start! Not only was it obviously demeaning, I’m sure it skewed what data we had anyway. No one acts as they normally do when they’re kidnapped and in a strange new environment. I want to understand your culture, Ogdo, and not in the half assed way we tried before. Any study I do will be on you and your people’s terms. No more kidnapping or forced sample taking. I promise.”
Ogdo clenched his jaw, still staring at Amelia with such intensity that she almost wanted to hide behind Andrew. But she stayed strong, clutching tightly to Andrew’s hand while maintaining Ogdo’s gaze.
“... I believe you.”
Amelia resisted the urge to sigh openly with relief. She smiled again. “I’m glad you do, because I’m telling the truth. You won’t be a lab rat. My study will consist of observation and questions, and only if anyone wants to answer them. No one will be forced to do anything they don’t want to. But I do need your help, Ogdo - I don’t speak your language, although I’m intent on learning it while I’m here. Is there a village nearby?”
Ogdo nodded. “After you left, I returned to my home village - Mak. I can bring you there today... only you.”
Amelia frowned. “Why only me?” she asked. “Andrew’s only here to protect me.”
“And do you think anyone will believe you?” Ogdo pointed at Andrew’s gun. “Outsider males that are Aonis are treated as hostile already. If a human male, armed with a weapon from outside this world that can kill with a single finger twitch, came into the village? You’ll both be dead before nightfall.”
Andrew scowled. “I’m not trusting Amelia to go alone.”
“She’s not going to be alone, I’ll be with her.” Ogdo pounded a fist to his chest. “I will keep her safe, Andrew. I did a good enough job of that the first time you were here, didn’t I?”
Andrew glared. “Ooooh, you did a lot more than just ‘keep us safe’,” he growled.
Amelia groaned and pinched the bridge of her nose. “Both of you, cool it!” she snapped, and shockingly both men shut their mouths. Amelia counted to ten to get her temper back under control before she spoke. “Yes, Ogdo, you did keep us safe. You also took advantage of the situation we were in. But that’s not what we’re talking about right now. Do you promise to keep me safe while I am in Mak?”
Ogdo nodded, and for once he looked sincere, rather than grumpy or smug. “You have my word. If all you want to do is understand us, then I see no reason to object to you visiting Mak.”
Andrew sighed and caved in. “Okay. I’ll wait here at base camp, but only if you come back every evening, Amelia. You’re not spending the night at Mak,” he said.
All right, things were starting to work out. “That sounds agreeable to me too,” Amelia said, giving her husband’s hand another squeeze before looking at Ogdo. “Does that work for you?”
Ogdo considered it briefly before he nodded again. “Yes. The day with me, the night with you. Do you want to go now?”
Amelia shrugged. “No time like the present. Let me grab my things and we can be out in a minute.”
Ogdo cocked an eyebrow while Amelia grabbed her bag and stuffed her laptop and several cameras into it. “What do those do?” he asked.
“Nothing that would involve direct interaction.” Amelia tapped the laptop. “This is for my notes, and the cameras will take pictures and record video. Wanna see?” Amelia took one of the cameras, one that fit in the palm of her hand, and pointed it at Ogdo. “Smile and say cheese!”
“Say what- agh!” Ogdo flinched as the flash went off. Amelia had the courtesy to bite her cheek to stop from laughing, but she definitely heard Andrew snickering as she turned the camera around to show Ogdo the picture.
“See? It’s harmless. These cameras can be about this size or tiny enough to fit on the tip of a pinky finger. It’s a great way to document my research,” she explained.
Ogdo blinked a few more times, no doubt to clear the flashing stars from his vision, before he nodded. “Interesting...” he murmured before he got up. “Can you make it not flash in the future? That was... aggravating.”
Now Amelia couldn’t hide her laugh, a soft giggle slipping through before she could disguise it as a cough. “Um, yeah. I’ll turn the flash off next time,” she promised before she slipped the camera back in the bag.
“I’ll be outside.”
Ogdo left the pod and now it was just her and Andrew.
“I don’t like this at all,” Andrew said. “He’s probably up to something.”
“Oh, he’s definitely up to something,” Amelia agreed. “But I have to finish this research, Andrew. Don’t worry about me.” She leaned in and quickly kissed him on the lips. “One thing about Ogdo, he’s a man of his word. He won’t let me get hurt. I will be back tonight, safe and sound.”
Andrew gently stroked her face with his thumb. “... If you’re not, I’ll burn this whole planet down to get you back,” he murmured before pulling her back for a longer, deeper kiss. Amelia didn’t want to let him go, but she slowly pulled back, blinking away some hard tears.
“I love you, Andrew. So much,” she whispered. She then grabbed her bag and slung it over her shoulder before heading out.
Ogdo had picked up his kill again and was waiting just outside. “Come on. Stay close, especially when we get to Mak. Even if you’re unarmed, the Aonis still haven’t forgotten what you did to us,” he said.
Amelia gulped, but nodded as she walked in stride with Ogdo. This time when she felt eyes on her, she knew it was Andrew watching her disappear into the greenery.
It was uncomfortably silent as they walked together through the forest. It was a beautiful day, but Amelia’s stomach was in all sorts of knots. Even when they were initially stranded on Aotis, she’d never actually been alone with Ogdo. Andrew had always been there with her.
God, she was struggling not to turn around and run right back to the pod.
"What does King Kong mean?”
That was quite the conversation starter. Amelia sputtered for a moment. “I... I’m sorry?” she asked.
“Your mate called me King Kong. Is that an insult?” Ogdo scowled.
“Uhhhh...” Amelia bit her bottom lip to stop herself from smiling. “King Kong is a fictional character in movies and TV shows on Earth. He’s meant to resemble a giant ape, an animal which does look rather similar to Aonis. Andrew meant it as a way to annoy you. Get under your skin.”
Ogdo looked baffled. “... How can it annoy me if I don’t know what it is?” he asked.
Nope. She couldn’t stop it anymore. Amelia giggled, clapping both hands over her mouth to try and muffle it but it didn’t work. But the laughter was already making her feel better. When she finally got it under control, she was smiling from ear to ear. “I mean... it clearly did annoy you,” she pointed out before she started giggling again.
It was only a few miles to the village, but Amelia was feeling more confident already. Ogdo promised to take care of her, and that was a bizarre comfort at this moment. When the village came into view, Amelia was regretting not having her camera out and ready.
The trees had been clear cut in a circle that stretched out among the longhouses that reminded Amelia of ancient Norse buildings, with turf roofing and oak walls. The entirety of the village was surrounded by an imposing fort wall, and at the front gates were two Aonis guards, wearing leather kilts like Ogdo but armed with glittering metal spears.
Before they got any closer, one of the guards spotted Amelia and shouted something. Both of them raised their spears and kept them pointed right at Amelia. Her heart fluttering like a trapped bird, Amelia raised both hands to show she was unarmed. Ogdo stepped in front of her at the moment and shouted back at them.
The discussion went on for a few seconds before the guard to the right nodded and ran into the village. In minutes, the front gate was crawling with Aonis of all descriptions - young women with their dark hair braided back and away from their faces, young children with wide eyes that stared with wonder at Amelia, elderly men with fur turning gray and their eyes milky white... All the attention was on her, and she was glad to be partly hidden behind Ogdo.
Perhaps she wasn’t the only one that would be studying a strange alien species... unfortunately, being put into the role of representing the human race was not a title to be taken lightly.
An Aonis man pushed his way to the front and Amelia gasped. This had to be the chieftain. He was enormous , even bigger than Ogdo and that was quite a feat. He had black and red tattoos stretching from his shoulders across his chest that resembled a canine with sharp dripping teeth, and the large club on his back would likely take multiple humans to lift, let alone use effectively. He was a fearsome sight.
He called out Ogdo’s name and Ogdo possessively wrapped his arm around Amelia’s shoulders before he walked forward. “It’s going to be fine,” he quietly reassured her, and Amelia wasn’t sure how she felt about the fact that she did relax a little at his comforting words.
The two talked back and forth. The chief’s emerald green eyes would constantly flick between Ogdo and Amelia, and at one point widened and he seemed to ask Ogdo to repeat himself. Ogdo responded by stroking Amelia’s back and leaning in close to her. “Press up against me,” he whispered.
Amelia hesitated only for a second before she moved closer to Ogdo, resting her hand against his chest and pressing her frame against his side. The chief blinked a few times in surprise and the gathered Aonis all murmured in surprise amongst themselves. After some more exchange of words, the chief nodded and stepped back.
Ogdo nodded before glancing down at Amelia. “You’re welcome to enter Mak,” he said.
The Aonis all scattered out of the way, hesitant to let Amelia walk close to them but too curious to let her enter their village unwatched. Ogdo kept his arm draped over Amelia’s shoulder as she was escorted through the village.
“What was that all about?” Amelia asked once the chief was out of sight.
Ogdo pressed his lips into a firm line. “Gein Rega wanted you to leave... gein is his title. He is the strongest of Mak, and until someone takes that title from him, he is the one in charge. I... may have told him a half lie.”
Oh great. Amelia groaned. “Do I want to know what that half lie was, Ogdo?”
Ogdo didn’t answer until they entered one of the longhouses. It was quite cozy inside, with the fire burning and the furs all over the floor, but what Ogdo said chilled her to the core.
“I told him we were mates.”
Amelia froze. She couldn’t think, she couldn’t move. She waited for Ogdo to say that he was joking, that he didn’t actually tell Rega that.
But it was quite obvious that he wasn’t lying by the way he looked expectantly down at her.
So she slapped him.
She knew she couldn’t hurt him, but it was still satisfying to slap him across the face, watch him stand stunned for a few moments.
“Fuck you.” Amelia shook her head. “That’s not a half lie, Ogdo, I’m... I’m not your mate! Andrew is my husband!”
Ogdo wiped off his face before he dumped his catch in the corner. “It is entirely a half lie. We did mate. You were mine for three days before your rescue turned up. It was temporary, but that is not that unique among us. Particularly with young ones like myself, having a mate for a short amount of time is part of life.”
“You couldn’t have mentioned this before we left Andrew?!” Amelia snapped.
Ogdo rolled his eyes. “No. You would’ve said no.”
“Why do you think that , you... you asshole!”
Ogdo crossed his arms and stared sternly down at Amelia, who glowered back. “You needed my help, Doctor Temple. I’m giving it the best way I know how. The Aonis of Mak will accept you as long as you smell of me and I call you mine.”
Smell?
Oh. Fuck.
“You’re not kidding, are you?” Amelia clenched her jaw and stared at the ground. “So you get what you want. Me. Again.”
Ogdo stepped into her space, forcing her to back up until she was up against the wall. Ogdo tilted her chin up to look her directly in the face. “I won’t lie, Doctor. You’ve… been in my thoughts. My fantasies.” His eyes roved her up and down. “Ever since you left, I only get off when I remember the way you screamed as I mounted you, how your body squeezed so tightly on my cock I could barely pull out. I wake up so hard it’s painful whenever you’re in my dreams. And now... you’re back.” He cocked his head to the side. “Is it really for science?”
Amelia swatted Ogdo’s hand away. “It’s only for science,” she said, not trusting her own words.
“Then mate with me. For science.” He smirked and reached forward, and although Amelia wanted to scream, she didn’t pull back as he unbuttoned her lab coat. “Consider it part of your studies. The coupling practices of the Aonis. And Andrew isn’t here. He doesn’t have to see us together again.”
Why did that last comment make her feel worse? Amelia shrugged off her lab coat and let it fall to the ground once the buttons were undone. “If this is the only way I can complete my study…” she trailed off and didn’t finish the sentence. She didn’t need to.
Ogdo grinned.
“Good.”
He was slower this time, gentler as he took her clothes off, pulling her shirt off over her head and unzipping her skirt with care. He still couldn’t get her bra undone, much to his annoyance, so Amelia reached back to guide his fingers. “Like this,” she told him as she undid the clasp. “Don’t rip my clothes again. I’m not going back to earth for two years and I don’t want to explain to the lab why I need a delivery of new bras.”
Ogdo chuckled. “I’ll just keep you naked when you’re here then,” he said.
Amelia almost called him a bastard again when he placed his hands on her chest, squeezing her breasts. She nearly bit her tongue off to avoid moaning, but Ogdo clearly remembered what she liked. His large fingers pulled and pinched at her nipples with just enough pressure that they didn’t hurt but her knees would go weak.
This is for the study. This is just for the study.
Still, she whined quietly as she felt him touch between her legs, rubbing between her folds to confirm what she already knew.
“Already?” Ogdo smirked as he lifted up his hand, wet with her arousal.
Amelia shuddered as his hand pressed up against her pussy again, her underwear pushed down past her thighs and to her knees. “O... Ogdo...” she stammered, trying to string together a sentence but her brain failed to put it together.
Ogdo pulled away suddenly, eyeing the naked doctor up and down before he tilted his head to the back of the longhouse. “Let’s take this to the baths. No one uses them this time of day, and I need one after the hunt,” he said, undoing his kilt’s belt and letting it fall to the ground. His cock was just as intimidating as the first time Amelia saw it, and it wasn’t even fully erect yet. How did she let that thing in her?
Still, Amelia nodded and kicked her panties off. A second later Ogdo scooped her up, cradled in his arms as he carried out the back way. Thankfully he was correct. The baths were empty, and Ogdo’s home was barely a few steps away so if any Aonis had spotted them, it wouldn’t have been for more than a brief second.
The hot springs were quite nice though. The air was filled with steam, and Ogdo carried her right to where a waterfall cascaded into them. Ogdo sat right under the falls, the green paint in his fur washing off to reveal its typical black color.
“Was the paint to camouflage you during the hunt?” Amelia blurted out, trying to focus on anything except for the fact she was naked in Ogdo’s lap.
“If you’re still able to ask questions for your study, clearly I haven’t distracted you enough.” Ogdo stroked her thighs. “As long as you can ask though, I’ll answer. Yes. It makes it easier to sneak up on prey if they can’t see you.”
Amelia nodded, mentally filing that away as Ogdo rubbed his thumb up against her pussy again. “I want to try something. You’ll have to save your questions for later though.” He glanced down at his erection. “Use your mouth. I want to feel your lips on my cock.”
Well, no time wasted. Amelia nodded. “I won’t be able to fit it all in, just a head’s up,” she told him as she slipped off his lap. The water splashed around them as Ogdo hauled himself up to sit on the edge.
The warm water was a strange comfort as Amelia reached for Ogdo’s cock. She didn’t feel nearly so exposed this way. Taking his cock in her hand, Amelia rubbed up and down the ribbed length, not surprised her fingers couldn’t touch around its girth - it truly was the thickest cock she’d seen in her life. There had to be a reason Aonis genitalia was textured like this, Amelia figured, but she doubted Ogdo would know that reason. Something she’d have to study later, if possible.
Right. Blowjob. Amelia glanced up briefly at Ogdo before she rubbed the fat tip against her cheek, nuzzling against the hard shaft before she parted her lips. Take it slow and steady, she told herself before she licked at the slit at the tip, a large drop of precum immediately landing on her tongue. Perhaps a bit headier and stronger, but still salty as expected. Ogdo groaned quietly and he stroked her hair, not grabbing onto it like she’d expect him to. At least he was willing to let her take her time.
She rolled her tongue over the head a few more times before she wrapped her lips around it. Her jaw was stretched to its limit as she bobbed her head down. She couldn’t even take a quarter of it before she started gagged, pulling off and gasping for breath. Okay, there really wasn’t a chance in hell she could fit any more in her mouth, but that was what her hands were for.
Amelia slipped his cock back into her mouth and carefully bobbed her head up and down. Both of hands wrapped around the part of his length, and part of her was impressed that she’d managed to take such a large manhood inside of her last time they were together. Her tongue rubbed up against the thick vein on the underside of his shaft and Ogdo actually shivered. His head tilted back and the beastly alien groaned. Amelia felt a tingle of arousal travel downwards at being able to please Ogdo so much and she squeezed her thighs together to try to ignore it.
Precum steadily dripped down her throat, Amelia consistently had to keep swallowing to prevent it from dribbling down her chin. Ogdo was clearly pleased by the sensation as his cock would twitch every time she did so. When she pulled off to catch her breath, Ogdo suddenly grabbed her waist and pulled her back into his lap. The intensity of him shoving his mouth against hers robbed her breath, and she didn’t even realize how she instinctively kissed back, throwing her arms over his shoulders as she parted her lips and tangled their tongues together.
Ogdo’s hand found itself between her thighs and his middle finger pushed inside of her with barely any resistance. “You liked sucking me off, didn’t you?” he growled as he repeatedly plunged his finger into her.
Amelia opened her mouth to string together a proper reply, but instead she cried out as his finger curled up inside of her, rubbing up against that perfect spot inside of her. Her hips rocked against his finger fucking, the slick sounds more than proving his statement. Ogdo grinned and pulled his finger out, lifting it up to their eye level to show it was soaked with her arousal.
Amelia surprised them both by grabbing Ogdo’s hand and putting that finger in her mouth, lapping up her own wetness and not dropping eye contact as she did so, savoring that taste. She popped the finger back out of her mouth when it was clean and then she realized what she’d done. That was the most she’d ever reciprocated with his affections in the past.
This... is for science, right ?
“Let me ride you,” Amelia blurted out, rubbing her dripping cunt against his cock. She’d think about the science part of this later. Something inside of her wanted Ogdo. She didn’t want to admit it, but her body craved him inside of her.
Ogdo didn’t say anything, but he definitely looked a bit smug as he sat back. Amelia straddled his hips and lowered herself over his erection, grinding up against him again before she grabbed his shaft by the base and lowered herself down onto it. The tip pressed against her pussy just for a bit before it slid right in and Amelia nearly lost her head right there. It went in so much easier than it did the first time they’d fucked. Perhaps that was partially due to the position they were in, and that was all Amelia was going to consider being a factor.
Each inch of him sunk deep inside of her and she didn’t stop until her clit nudged his pelvis. Her body quivered as she remained still for a minute, just taking in how full he made her feel. It didn’t feel possible. But it felt good. It felt really, really good.
Ogdo’s hips thrust up and nearly threw her off his lap, Amelia scrambling to hold on. “Patience,” she chided him before she rose up, his length nearly exiting her before she slammed back down.
Amelia took it slow at first, and much to her surprise, Ogdo allowed this. He didn’t try to take back control. His hips would slowly meet hers when she descended on his cock, rolling up against her as he stroked her thighs. It was far less feral and bestial than last time... it was borderline sensual, passionate. Almost like making love. Clearly he’d gotten some practice since those days in the cave. Not that she was jealous of anyone he’d been with or anything. It wasn’t like she and Andrew had been celibate since they’d left Aotis.
Her pace picked up as she adjusted to his size, until she was riding him fast and hard, her body slapping up against his in a way that could only be interpreted as lewd. She bounced up and down on that thick cock, moaning and gasping and kissing Ogdo to hide the screams that wanted to rip their way out of her throat. Just because they were alone in the baths right now didn’t mean that making too much sound wouldn’t catch some unwanted attention.
Ogdo’s grip on her hips grew stronger the closer she got to climax, and she had a feeling he wasn’t far off either. “You...” Amelia squealed as another thrust from him nearly punched the air from her lungs. “You... close?”
“Mmmm,” Ogdo groaned as he buried his cock into her again. “Close… yes. I’m going to fill your womb with my seed, Amelia, you’ll take all of it... every... last... Drop!”
Amelia slammed down one last time and this time she did scream, squeezing down on Ogdo as one of the most powerful orgasms she’d ever had in her life exploded through her. She felt the first flood of cum rush inside of her, and she moaned as she gripped her thighs around Ogdo’s waist. She didn’t want him to pull out, she realized. She wanted to be so full of his deposit that she’d never feel empty again.
He did pull out though, and Amelia shuddered as his next shots of cum splattered over her stomach and up to her chest. Some drops even landed up to her lips, and she instinctively licked them off. She knew she looked a mess, his semen dripping off and from her body, but the post climax haze made her just not care.
Ogdo looked over her shoulder and bared his teeth, and Amelia looked back to see some Aonis - younger, likely just reached adulthood - scampering off, practically trampling each other to hurry their escape. Amelia groaned and rested her head against Ogdo’s chest. “How long were they there?” she asked.
“I wasn’t exactly focused on them, Doctor Temple.”
It hit her when he placed her back in the bath. She washed off her chest and glanced over at Ogdo, who was now lounging under one of the waterfalls. “You called me Amelia earlier,” she noted.
Ogdo’s pale gaze flicked over to her. “... I did? When?” he asked, clearly trying to sound innocent.
“Yes, you did, and you know you did, and when you did.” Amelia huffed. Stubborn bastard. “Whatever. Why did you scare the other Aonis off?”
“I knew you’d be annoyed if they kept watching.” Ogdo slid out from under the waterfall, shaking his fur out and Amelia had to bite her lip to stop from laughing as his hair was sticking every which way. “You’ll get used to it though. Mating in public is not the taboo you humans make it out to be.”
Great. This wasn’t going to be the only time they slept together then, clearly. Damn him. Still, she took the piece of moss he offered that was clearly meant to be used as some kind of sponge, and Amelia finished cleaning herself up.
At least this time he was fine after a single round.
Andrew had practically paced a rut in the ground around the camp by the time Amelia and Ogdo returned that evening.
The relief and joy on his face made Amelia feel more like dirt as they walked up. “Amelia! You’re back!” Andrew said, immediately pulling her in for a tight hug.
“I told you, I’d bring her back unharmed,” Ogdo said, crossing his arms. “I don’t go back on my word.”
"I don’t wanna hear it, King Kong.” Andrew glowered up at Ogdo for a moment before turning his gaze soft back at Amelia. “Have you had dinner yet? I managed to hunt one of those skinny climbing rodents that we had last time, and I think it’s actually made a pretty decent roast.”
Amelia swallowed. Where was her voice? She felt so small, so... terrible . She felt worse than she did back in the cave.
Andrew immediately knew something was wrong. His eyes narrowed and he looked back at Ogdo. “... What did you do?”
“Helped her acclimate to the village and be accepted among my people,” Ogdo responded. Not a lie, but not really the truth.
“You’re so full of shit, Ogdo, I swear...”
“Andrew?” Amelia was surprised by how quiet her voice was. “Later. I just need to be alone.” She shoved past him and practically ran into the base pod, slamming the door behind her as she hurried to the bedroom.
She couldn’t do this. No. For the study or not, she couldn’t go behind Andrew’s back like this. She loved him too much, and even if Ogdo was good at making her feel pleasure, it wasn’t right. The study would have to be canceled. Fuck the contracts she’d signed, fuck Achilles labs, all she wanted to do was go home and pretend she’d never even heard of Aotis.
Learning and studying alien planets and cultures was important to her, but she’d never do it again if it meant she never betrayed Andrew again.
Andrew waited until Amelia slammed the door behind her before he turned back to Ogdo. He didn’t give Ogdo a chance to explain himself, or any sort of warning to what he was about to do.
A blow to the solar plexus knocked the air from the alien’s lungs, but what felt really good was being face to face with him and being able to punch him right in the nose. Ogdo reeled back, growling like a wild animal as he gripped onto his nose. Hopefully Andrew managed to flatten it more than it already was.
I’ve wanted to do that for a while,” he said before taking a fighting stance. “Cut the bullshit, Ogdo. What did you do to Amelia?”
Ogdo lowered his hand and glanced down to see a bit of blood. “... Huh. You’re clearly more of a warrior than I thought,” he said.
“I’m a soldier, and I’m not down a leg anymore.” Andrew slowly circled Ogdo, Ogdo turning to follow his every movement. “Don’t avoid the question. What. Did. You. Do?”
Ogdo took a deep breath before he lunged. Andrew barely ducked a blow from Ogdo that took a chunk out of the tree behind him. That was clearly the distraction though, as Ogdo’s other fist slammed into Andrew’s stomach. Andrew stumbled backwards, but ducked and rolled to avoid Ogdo’s fists again.
“I fucked her so the village would believe she was my mate.” Ogdo straightened up and cracked his knuckles. “They wouldn’t have allowed her to do her study if I hadn’t.”
... Well, that was a lot more blunt than Andrew had expected. “Sounds like it was such a sacrifice for you.” Andrew snarled. “That’s really why you didn’t want me to come along, isn’t it?”
“I didn’t lie.” Ogdo shrugged as the pair circled each other again. “My people wouldn’t accept a strange male armed with a gun. And yes, I had a feeling Gein Rega wouldn’t be so keen to allow a human female into the village, not unless she was attached to an Aonis. I won’t lie again though... I enjoyed her body, and she enjoyed mine.” Ogdo smirked and oh man, Andrew was seeing red. “Are you actually mad over me mating with her again though, or are you upset that you didn’t have the pleasure of watching again?”
That got Ogdo punched in the gut. And Andrew got thrown across the camp. Really, it was a flurry of blows between the pair. Nothing too low though - Andrew never went for the groin shot (even though it was easier from his vantage point to hit), and Ogdo never used his full strength behind his fists (at least, on the blows that were meant to hit him).
The fight didn’t end with a clear winner... more like both of them had run out of steam and had considered it a draw. Andrew was sitting on the ground, panting for breath, clutching onto what he knew had to be cracked ribs. Ogdo wasn’t much better, slumped over on his side with his nose still trickling blood down over his lips.
Ogdo really pissed him off. He did it on purpose, obviously. Andrew wasn’t an idiot. Ogdo wanted a fight. Why, Andrew didn’t know. But he certainly knew where Andrew’s buttons were. Of course Andrew hadn’t forgotten how he’d... reacted to watching his wife getting railed by practically a stranger. It had been a bit of a surprise for him too. Watching the way Amelia’s body writhed under Ogdo’s touch, the way her eyes rolled back when she came again and again... sometimes Andrew would wake up hard as hell, those memories in his dreams. That fucked with him more than a little. Amelia had only agreed to Ogdo’s terms to protect him, her husband, after all. He shouldn’t have been getting off to it.
He also knew there wasn’t a chance in hell he’d let his own issues get in the way of his wife’s studies.
Andrew held up a finger before he got up. “Wait there,” he grumbled as he headed into the pod. The bedroom door was closed, but Andrew knocked twice and said, “I’m fine. I’ll be there in a bit to check on you, all right?”
She didn’t respond, but Andrew did hear her shift in bed. That was enough of an answer for him, and he headed for the first aid kit.
Surprisingly Ogdo didn’t leave while Andrew fetched the Whitelight, and he allowed Andrew to lift up the device to his face. “What is that?” the Aonis asked.
“It’s called Whitelight. I was trained to use them before I deployed the first time.” Good thing too - the device had saved more than one of his friends’ lives. Andrew turned it on and the pale glow illuminated Ogdo’s features in a borderline terrifying way. “It uses nanobots - microscopic robots that you can’t really see with just your eyes - and fixes injuries. Nearly anything from cuts to broken bones. Knits the skin together, heals broken bones, and it’ll do it faster than pizza delivery.”
Ogdo blinked a few times as the Whitelight did its work. “Why do you need to be trained to use one? You’re just holding it above my face,” he deadpanned.
“Buddy, if I don’t turn it off at the right time, it might sew your nostrils shut. Don’t push it.”
Thankfully Ogdo didn’t push it, and after he was all patched up Andrew used the Whitelight on himself.
“... I trust my wife.” This was the fucking weirdest conversation Andrew never expected to have in his lifetime, but here he was. He ran the Whitelight slowly up and down over his ribs as he continued to talk. “If it was really the best course of action to have sex with you so she could commit to her study, she wouldn’t have done it otherwise. Granted, that doesn’t make you any less of a manipulative jackass, but what’s done is done. You keep protecting Amelia though, even if she doesn’t put out anymore, got it? If she comes back actually hurt, I won’t just use my fists on you next time.”
Ogdo considered this quietly before he nodded once. “All right. You have my word,” he said before he got up. “I’ll be back in the morning to escort Amelia back to my village.”
Andrew spent the next half hour patching himself up before he was finally back to full health. He hesitated before reentering the pod, only for a second, but he did. Damn, this planet had really done a number on both of them, hadn’t it? But they couldn’t avoid that elephant in the room anymore, or in this case, the alien.
Amelia was still laying in bed, and it was clear she’d been crying. “We can go home,” she blurted out once Andrew sat down next to her. “We don’t have to keep doing this... I can’t do this to you, Andrew. I can’t. I know I shouldn’t have mated with Ogdo again, but I won’t be able to complete the study without his help and-”
“Amelia, we’re staying here.”
Amelia’s jaw shut with a click. She paused for a moment before she sat up. “What?” she asked, raising an eyebrow.
Andrew reached out and gently caressed Amelia’s cheek. God, she was still so pretty. “You can’t throw away everything you’ve already put into this work just because of how guilty you feel about me. I love you, and I know you love me. You wouldn’t feel the way you do if you didn’t.”
Amelia clasped her hands onto his and her eyes fluttered close as she leaned into his touch. “... He didn’t hurt me, I mean... not that I’m not a bit sore down there.” She shifted a bit and winced. “But it wasn’t violent. But Andrew, I’ll have to keep sleeping with him if I want to sell the whole ‘mate’ thing to his people. Are you okay with that?”
Was he? Andrew twisted his mouth as he thought it over... and a solution clicked to him.
“Sneaking it around me is what upsets you the most, right?”
Amelia nodded.
“Then don’t. Use your laptop’s webcam. I’ll watch from here.”
Amelia’s face flushed bright red. “A-Andrew, um... are you sure that’s okay?” she asked.
Andrew nodded. “If I’m there, at least long distance, I’ll know if something happens that you’re not okay with. And if you’re in trouble, I’ll be there in no time. It’s not ideal, but I think it’s the best situation for both of us. And I told Ogdo if you ever want to stop the mate charade, you will. And I think he’ll listen to me.”
Amelia snorted. “What were you doing out there? Fighting a tornado?” she asked.
“More like a hurricane, and that hurricane was Hurricane Ogdo. Nothing a fully charged Whitelight couldn’t fix.” It was nearly out of charge now, but it did have to heal two men who’d beat the shit out of each other. Andrew leaned in and gently kissed his wife on the lips. “I’m okay, Amelia, as long as you are. I have your back, you have mine. I love you.”
Amelia sobbed, but there was a smile on her beautiful face now. “I love you too,” she said, and pulled him back in for another kiss.
The two fell back into the bed, Andrew’s hands pushing up her shirt and tracing circles around the bruises Ogdo’s grip had left on her hips. He likely hadn’t gripped her that hard, Amelia always bruised easily, but seeing them just made that possessiveness rear up in Andrew’s chest.
Clothing was shed piece by piece to the floor until both were nude, caressing each other’s warm bodies as their lips moved against the other’s. When Andrew’s fingers slipped between her thighs though Amelia grimaced and moved back. “Sorry, it’s... I’m still too sore after Ogdo,” she admitted, looking a bit ashamed.
Andrew nodded. “We don’t have to do anything else then,” he said. He wasn’t a spoiled teenage boy, he could go jerk off in the bathroom if Amelia wasn’t in the mood to go any farther.
“Well... there’s something that isn’t sore.” Amelia took Andrew’s hand and guided it to her ass. The cheeky grin on her face was enough of a clue about what she wanted instead. “Do you think there’s any lubrication in the med packs?
“Nooot exactly.” Always be prepared for anything, and there was nothing wrong with having lube. Andrew grinned and rolled over to the other side of the bed, where he fetched a bottle of lube out of the side table. “Tadaaaa!” He presented it to her and Amelia burst out laughing.
“Oh god, Andrew, please tell me that isn’t on the official inventory sheet,” she said between giggles.
“I don’t think it is.” Although Andrew wasn’t sure if the Achilles Lab eggheads had double checked the pod for anything extra they brought. “Get a pillow and put it under your back.”
Amelia nodded and grabbed the pillow, placing it under her lower back and spreading her legs. Andrew lubed up his erect cock, his arousal twitching at the sight of Amelia’s exposed ass. “I love you, Amelia,” he said as he slipped between her legs, his cock brushing up against her still swollen pussy before he pushed it down lower.
He took it slow, pressing up against her hole and rubbing his cockhead in circles against it before he pressed in. It took a bit more pressure than he was used to, but he slipped inside and it was heaven . Amelia quietly cried out, her head thrown back as her chest heaved.
“I love you, Andrew! Fuck , I love you!” she whined, her body bucking up against his. She chanted that like a prayer as he buried himself inside of her, his balls slapping up against her ass before he pulled back and thrust in again.
Andrew pulled her in for a sloppy open mouthed kiss, ignoring that thought in his head about how the curtains were pulled back, how if Ogdo was still around he could be watching them go at each other, how Amelia threw her arms around him and dragged her nails down his back as he pounded into her ass, begging for him to fuck her and that she loved him, she loved him so fucking much…
Andrew’s fingers dug into the same bruises that Ogdo had left earlier and Amelia’s eyes popped wide open. “O-oh, Andrew... ” his name on her lips turned into a squeal and her hole clenched so tightly around him he could barely pull out. The tremors that ran through her body made it obvious she was having and orgasm, and the way she squeezed him was enough to send him toppling over the edge. His cock twitched, shooting cum in her ass, and he moaned her name on his lips, "...Amelia." The pleasure enough to drown in.
The two remained like that for a while, tangled together. Andrew nuzzled into her soft breasts and mumbling again and again that he loved her... he loved her so much . Nothing would ever change that. Not even Ogdo.
